About the role
We are recruiting for a Temporary Recruitment Advisor to join a friendly and supportive HR team within a well-established professional services business.
Based in their Darlington office, you’ll be joining a friendly and supportive HR team, within a professional services organisation, where you will take a key role in managing their trainee recruitment process and coordinating upcoming assessment centres.
This is a hands-on role where you will manage candidates throughout the recruitment journey, work closely with managers and Partners, and ensure assessment centre days run smoothly and professionally.
What you’ll be doing:
- Sifting applications and CVs received through Indeed and the company website
- Shortlisting and sending suitable CVs for review
- Arranging telephone interviews with candidates
- Supporting Managers during interviews, ensuring all key areas are covered
- Coordinating assessment centres and booking candidates onto each session
- Running assessment centre days for approximately 10-15 candidates
- Ensuring presentations, interviews, group activities and candidate schedules run smoothly
- Reviewing existing assessment centre materials and identifying ways to improve efficiency and candidate experience
- Keeping candidates informed and providing a professional experience throughout the recruitment process
- Previous experience within recruitment, either in-house or agency
- Assessment centre or high-volume recruitment experience would be particularly beneficial
- Strong organisation and coordination skills
- Confidence leading events and managing groups of candidates
- A professional and personable approach when dealing with candidates and senior stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and keep recruitment processes moving
- Availability to start at short notice and commit until at least the end of November
