Accountant

Time Appointments are currently looking for an AAT qualified accountant to join our client, a Chartered Accountants, based in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of client management and work, including accounts preparation and taxation.

This role offers progression into a Client Manager role and the opportunity to earn qualifications.

Duties
· Managing your own portfolio of clients.
· Dealing with client queries and managing client deadlines.
· To produce sole trader, partnership and company accounts.
· To produce tax computation for personal clients.
· To produce tax computations for corporate clients.
· Review bookkeeping and VAT returns.

Requirements
· Experience in an accountancy practice
· AAT qualified
· Previous knowledge of Quickbooks, Xero and Dext are a clear advantage
· Comfortable with all aspects of accounts production and taxation.
· Professional and strong communication skills.
· Must be highly enthusiastic and self motivated, can work as part of a team and independently.
