Responsibilities:

As a Children and Families Social Worker, you will work closely with children, families, and other professionals to deliver high-quality services that protect and promote the welfare of children. You will carry out assessments, develop care plans, provide ongoing support, and ensure the best interests of children are always prioritised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of individuals involved in the criminal justice system, identifying their needs and risks.
• Develop, implement, and review care plans in partnership with service users and other professionals.
• Provide support and interventions aimed at reducing re offending, promoting rehabilitation, and improving social integration.
• Work with a wide range of agencies, including law enforcement, probation services, and healthcare providers, to ensure a coordinated approach.
• Attend court hearings, prepare reports, and provide expert testimony as required.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams, offering insights into cases and providing a holistic approach to criminal justice.

Qualifications and registrations:

• Qualified Social Worker
• SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register
• LSCMI trained

• Car driver
