Location: Barnsley
Pay: £95–£100 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 weeks initially, with the potential to continue longer term up to Christmas
Role: Full-time, Temporary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Barnsley on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant with strong Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) experience who is available for an immediate start.
The RoleAs an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing. You will help create a positive, engaging and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

The role will initially be for 6 weeks, with the possibility of continuing on a longer-term basis up to Christmas, subject to the needs of the school.

Requirements

• Previous experience working within EYFS is essential
• An Enhanced DBS for the Child Workforce on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new Enhanced DBS
• Safeguarding Level 1 minimum, or willingness to complete a Safeguarding course
• A genuine passion for supporting children in their early years
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable, professional and committed approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
