Cover Supervisor Required in Rotherham
Provide Education are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school in Rotherham, S65.
The school is looking for a reliable Cover Supervisor to provide classroom cover across KS3 and KS4, supporting students with their learning and ensuring lessons continue to run smoothly in the absence of the usual class teacher.
This is a great opportunity for a Cover Supervisor looking for regular work within a secondary school, with the potential for the role to develop into a longer-term position.

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering pre-set work provided by teaching staff
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining expectations
• Supporting students with their learning where appropriate
• Following school policies and procedures
• Providing feedback to teaching staff where required

About You
The successful Cover Supervisor will ideally have:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students
• Experience managing a classroom or group of students
• Good communication and behaviour management skills
• The ability to follow lesson plans and instructions
• A professional approach to working in a school environment
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or other school-based role would be beneficial.
