Location: Sheffield
Pay: Up to £120 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start: After October half term
Duration: Until after Christmas

Provide Education are currently recruiting for 2 Teaching Assistants to support a secondary school in Sheffield, starting after the October half term.

The school is looking for two TAs to work full-time, Monday to Friday, supporting students across KS3 and KS4. The role will involve a mixture of general classroom support and 1:1 support, working alongside teaching staff to help students access learning and remain engaged in lessons.

The positions are expected to run from after October half term until after Christmas, with the potential for further opportunities depending on school requirements.

The role will involve:

• Providing general classroom support across KS3 and KS4
• Providing 1:1 support to individual students
• Supporting students with their learning, engagement and behaviour
• Helping students access classroom activities and complete set work
• Working alongside teaching staff to support students in lessons
• Supporting students who may have additional learning needs or barriers to learning
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is essential
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar school-based role
• Experience providing 1:1 and classroom-based support
• Confidence supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Availability to work Monday to Friday
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
