About the role
An exciting opportunity to join our leadership team
Hallmoor School is an inclusive, forward-thinking and popular specialist school for pupils aged 4 to 19 years. The children who attend Hallmoor have a Statement of Special Educational Need or an Education and Health Care Plan.
Our school educates children with cognition and learning needs. Children may have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech Language and Communication Difficulties or a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Some children have additional needs including visual impairment and hearing impairment and associated behaviour difficulties.
We are recruiting for an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Teaching, Learning and Staff Development.

We continually reflect on how our learning environments, curriculum and resources can best meet the individual and diverse needs of our children, adapting our provision to ensure that every pupil has meaningful opportunities to engage, participate and succeed.
Working closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team, you will provide strong and effective leadership across the school to ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.
