Responsibilities in your new role as Head Banqueting Chef
In this key leadership position, you will lead an outstanding department by setting high standards, providing guidance, and fostering development to achieve consistently high levels of service. You will create and seek opportunities to learn and to develop others to drive the performance of both the department and the hotel. By understanding our markets, competitors, and business model, you will ensure the department consistently delivers service standards. Applying financial and other management principles, you will take ownership and responsibility for departmental results, aligning fully with hotel strategy and setting clear departmental goals.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in a same or similar role within the hospitality industry, alongside fluent English skills and readiness for our 3 stage selection process. You hold high personal and professional standards, paired with excellent communication skills across colleagues, guests, and the management team. You possess thorough practical knowledge of the department, individual roles, and responsibilities, as well as the confidence to lead, encourage, motivate, and manage the department to exceed expectations. Passionate about bringing the best seasonal, local produce into multiple environments, you will manage and motivate your team to ensure they consistently achieve culinary excellence while actively nurturing their personal and professional development.
