Maths Teacher – DN3

Maths Teacher | DN4 | Temporary Long Term Placement

We are seeking a Maths Teacher to work within a secondary school in DN6. This is a temporary, long term placement opportunity involving the teaching of Maths across KS3 and KS4. The role is available for an immediate start once all required checks have been completed. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and ECTs.

What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and experience working with KS3 and KS4 students
• The ability to differentiate lessons
• Effective classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities of the Role
• Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan activities that support understanding of mathematical concepts
• Adapt teaching to meet different student needs
• Assess student learning, monitor progress, provide feedback and support students with areas for development
• Maintain clear classroom expectations
• Work alongside the Maths department and wider school team
• Follow curriculum requirements and school policies
