£43,282 per annum
Permanent, full-time
Working hours: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday

Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Adviser to join an established building services provider based in Ashington. You will provide professional health and safety advice across the organisation, helping to maintain legal compliance and promote a positive safety culture.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
• Advise managers on health and safety legislation and best practice
• Investigate incidents, including complex and RIDDOR reportable cases
• Develop and deliver engaging health and safety training
• Monitor performance and maintain accurate health and safety records
• Work with employees, contractors and stakeholders to improve standards

Essential requirements:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Proven experience within a Health & Safety Adviser role
• Auditing, inspection and action plan management experience
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Recent experience within a Local Authority, Housing Association or NHS environment
• A NEBOSH Construction Certificate, professional membership and experience of COSHH, DSE or delivering health and safety training would be advantageous.
