HGV 2 Driver Needed

Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: 40 hours per week (job and knock)
Hourly Rate: £16.00 per hour
Start Time: Between 5:00am and 6:30am

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our client’s team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a multi-drop role involving 7-8 drops per day, covering areas such as Swindon, Tewkesbury, Frome, Devizes and Swansea. Please note that the Swansea route is run approximately three times per week and not all drivers will be required to cover it.

You will be responsible for loading your own vehicle after the first few days, so a hands-on attitude is essential. You must also be comfortable operating a tail lift – confidence with this equipment is a must.

Working Hours & Pay

• Start time is between 5:00am and 6:30am

• 40 hours per week

• Any additional hours over 8 per day are paid at time and a half

Requirements

• Valid HGV 2 (Category C) licence

• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card

• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence

• Experience with multi-drop deliveries preferred

• Ability to operate a tail lift

• Reliable, punctual and professional
