Coventry City Council is seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Job Analyst to join our Employee Relations team on a fixed term contract for 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting managers, HR colleagues and Trade Union representatives to deliver robust, equitable and evidence-based job evaluation outcomes across the organisation. Based on the NJC Job Evaluation Scheme, you'll provide expert analysis, conduct job evaluations, and support strategic workforce decisions that impact thousands of employees

We’re looking for someone who can bring:
- Job Evaluation Expertise- strong understanding of job evaluation principles and methodology
- Experience of applying the NJC/ Green book factor definitions consistently
- Strong analytical skills to analyse job descriptions and Job Evaluation Questionnaires objectively
- Comfortable working with data and identifying patterns across roles/job families
- Understands the importance of equal pay, consistency and auditability
- Maintains accurate records and and evidence trail
