North Durham AcademyWe are seeking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in the continued success of North Durham Academy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and inspirational leader who is passionate about education and committed to ensuring every young person achieves their full potential. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will provide strategic leadership across the academy, helping to shape its vision, drive improvement and create an environment where students and staff can thrive.

As Deputy Headteacher, you will support the professional leadership and management of the academy, deputising for the Headteacher when required and contributing to all aspects of school development. You will work alongside senior and middle leaders to promote high standards of teaching and learning, secure excellent outcomes for students and ensure that the academy continues to deliver an ambitious and inclusive educational experience.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and highly effective leader with a proven track record of improving outcomes and inspiring others. You will have the ability to think strategically while maintaining a strong operational focus, building positive relationships with students, staff, parents, governors and the wider community. Above all, you will share our belief that every child deserves the highest quality education and the opportunity to succeed.
