What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for setting and programming CNC mill/turn machines, producing precision components to engineering drawings and the required specification.
The role will involve:

• Setting CNC mill/turn machines
• Programming using Mazak controls
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters
• Producing components accurately and consistently
• Making adjustments during production where required
• Working as part of an experienced manufacturing team

 
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with previous experience working as a CNC Mill/Turner, particularly someone who can take responsibility for both setting and programming.
You’ll ideally have:

• Previous CNC mill/turn experience
• Experience setting CNC machines
• CNC programming experience
• Mazak controls experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• A methodical approach to producing precision components
• Experience working within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
