Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 3)
Full Time Equivalent Salary: CLF Grade D £33,009 - £36,011 based on full time, all year round
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only plus inset days
Position 1: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Actual Annual Salary: £22,918 - £25,002 based on hours and weeks worked

Position 2: 18 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, 6 hours per day
Actual Annual Salary: £13,750 - £15,001 based on hours and weeks worked
There may be some flexibility around the working pattern, which can be discussed at interview stage.

We are seeking two dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to join the team at Uphill Village Academy. In these roles, you will play a key part in supporting teaching and learning by planning, preparing and delivering high-quality learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
Position 1 – Upper Key Stage 2
This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive and highly effective Upper Key Stage 2 team. Under the direction of the class teachers, you will support teaching and learning within the classroom, deliver small group lessons in Maths and English, and cover weekly PPA sessions.
This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step, or an existing HLTA looking to further develop their practice within a supportive and ambitious school environment.
Position 2 – Key Stage 1 and EYFS
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Key Stage 1 team, working across EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2. Under the direction of the class teachers, you will support teaching and learning within the classroom, deliver small group lessons and cover weekly PPA sessions.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience and a detailed understanding of the EYFS statutory framework, alongside a passion for ensuring all children have the opportunity to learn and develop within a safe and stimulating environment.
