What You Will Do:

• Create detailed 3D models of mezzanine floor structures using Tekla Structures.
• Produce fabrication and assembly drawings that translate design intent into manufacturing-ready information.
• Add connections, complete clash checks, and maintain model accuracy throughout design development.
• Read and interpret structural analysis calculations and drawings to generate precise models.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored design solutions.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and installation, ensuring designs meet expectations on site.

What You Will Bring:

• At least 3 years of experience using Tekla Structures for structural design, ideally within mezzanine floors or structural steelwork.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel design and fabrication processes, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and other relevant design software is advantageous.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

This Tekla Structures Design Engineer role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, bespoke mezzanine floor solutions, where accurate modelling, effective clash detection, and clear fabrication drawings directly support reliable delivery and quality control. With over 30 years’ experience in designing and supplying mezzanine solutions, the focus remains on using advanced 3D-CAD and NC technology to exactly match customer requirements, reduce lead times, and maintain consistent standards throughout projects.

Location:

Brierley Hill, West Midlands.  You will need full RTW for the UK as this is a permanent role and cannot offer sponsorship.
