About the role
Power Control Specialist required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in The United Kingdom. Responsibilities: Real-time monitoring and control of generation & transmission assets. SCADA alarm handling and escalation. HV control activities up to 66kV. Coordination with TSO / DNO / OFTO and O&M stakeholders. Supporting safe switching, outages and maintenance activities. REMIT operational notification Requirements: Real-time SCADA operational experience. Electrical / power generation / transmission / utilities background. Power Control Room experience preferred. HV Control Engineer experience advantageous. AP / SAP experience advantageous. Knowledge of WTG / power park control. Experience with alarms, outages and operational incidents. Strong understanding of electrical safety and operational procedures. Excellent communication skills and fluent English. Electrical qualification - City & Guilds / ONC / HNC / Degree
