About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Data Entry Clerk to join a busy Processing Team supporting our client within the charity sector.
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play an important role in ensuring supporter information and campaign responses are recorded accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for entering and updating information on bespoke databases, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring records are maintained to a high standard.
This role would suit someone who is computer literate, highly accurate and comfortable working with data, with the ability to maintain a consistent pace while ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately entering supporter and response information into bespoke databases.
- Checking information carefully and identifying any errors or discrepancies.
- Resolving data discrepancies and escalating issues where necessary.
- Updating and maintaining accurate supporter records.
- Actioning supporter requests in line with agreed procedures.
- Scanning and accurately keying information from physical records.
- Maintaining confidentiality when handling supporter information.
- Following relevant GDPR, data protection and company procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure daily processing requirements are met.
- Maintaining a consistent level of productivity and accuracy throughout the working day.
