CABINET MAKER – Hadfield

Bennett Staff are looking to recruit for a Cabinet Maker for our client based in Hadfield Glossop. This role is to start ASAP on a Temporary to Permanent Basis.

Duties include:

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company specifications.
• To work efficiently and safely.
• Using machinery, i.e., Dimension Saw, Mitre Saw, Drill Stand and hand Routers.
• Producing furniture from written instructions along with manufacturing drawings.
• Preparing components to achieve the high standard of finish required.
• Assembling furniture using a mixture of fixings i.e., Screws, Dowels and Glued & mitred joints.
• Working to achieve set daily/weekly output targets.
• Ability to work with others.
• Able to work to a high standard efficiently.
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• Able to work from written instructions, drawing etc.
• Ideal for someone just starting out in Carpentry/Joinery industry or just left College with Joinery/Carpentry qualification.

Working Hours:

• 7.15am to 4.15pm – (Monday to Thursday).
• 7.15am to 1.15pm – (Friday).

Additional Information:

• 12 – Week Temporary to Permanent positions.
• On site Parking
• Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour.
