Fabricator Welder
Pertemps Stoke are looking to recruit a skilled Fabricator Welder with ASME IX coding and extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will join our client’s team, working on high-specification fabrication and welding projects.

Pertemps Stoke are looking to recruit a skilled Fabricator Welder with ASME IX coding and extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will join our client’s team, working on high-specification fabrication and welding projects.
Responsibilities of the Fabricator Welder role:
- Carry out precision welding and fabrication to ASME IX standards.
- Experience working to WPS’
- Work with a variety of materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and exotic alloys.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and welding procedures.
- Liaise with engineers, inspectors, and project teams to meet tight deadlines.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on pressure vessels, pipework, and structural components.
- ASME IX Coded Welder certification (TIG/MIG/MMA).
- Proven experience in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors is desirable.
- Strong fabrication skills, including cutting, bending, and assembling components.
- Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of welding procedures, NDT techniques, and industry regulations.
- Hourly rate: £16ph
- Hours of work – Monday to Friday, Day Shift
- Location: Stoke-on-Trent
- Training and certification support.
