Senior Cloud Engineer - GCP (f/m/n)

About the role We're building a Cloud Center of Excellence that owns the cloud foundation for the entire engineering organization. You'll design the architecture, automation, and governance that other teams build on - not just deploy workloads, but define how workloads get deployed. If you think about infrastructure as a product and want real ownership over cloud strategy, this is that role. What You'll do: Design and implement a cloud-native platform architecture on GCP Build scalable guardrails for multi-team, multi-environment setups with compliance requirements Create reusable infrastructure that enables self-service provisioning Define cloud governance: IAM strategies, organizational policies, policy-as-code Write design documents and represent technical divisions in cross-team and leadership forums What we're looking for: Strong hands-on experience with GCP Production Kubernetes experience - networking, security, tenancy, lifecycle management Terraform at the module-authoring level, not just the consumer level Solid networking fundamentals: VPC design, CIDR planning, DNS, hybrid connectivity Experience working in compliance -driven environments (SOC2, PCI-DSS, or similar) GitOps methodology and tooling Observability stack experience (metrics, structured logging, tracing) Clear technical communication - you can write a design doc and defend it What will stand out: You think about infrastructure as a product with users, SLOs, and developer experience You've designed cloud foundations for organizations, not just individual projects You build patterns that scale and enable others, rather than solving things one-off You know how to get buy-in across teams and navigate the human side of platform work You raise the technical bar for the people around you Remote role across Poland.
