About the role

We are seekin We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our experienced and supportive staff team. Monday to Friday 8.45a.m. to 3.25 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, term-time only, plus training days.

The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children in their learning and development and will be committed to helping every child achieve their full potential. You will be able to build positive and effective relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, demonstrating patience, empathy and a nurturing approach.

In this role, you will work closely with teachers and the wider school team to support children across the curriculum, both within the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will help to create an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment where all children can develop confidence, independence and resilience.

Every day, you will support pupils with a range of needs to access learning, develop positive relationships and engage fully in school life. Through your encouragement and guidance, you will help children overcome barriers to learning, build their self-belief and achieve success both academically and personally.

You will be a proactive team player with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of children.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Level 2 childcare qualification;
  • Experience of working with children with additional needs;
  • The ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues;
  • A commitment to equal opportunities;
  • The ability to work in a team but also to use your own initiative;
  • Organisational and time management skills;
  • The ability to focus learning in a proactive, creative and positive manner as well as evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities;
