Ely, Cambridgeshire Polytec Personnel Ltd Location: Ely (CB6) Job Type: FTC Duration: 3 months Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 7:30am-12:30pm Salary: Competitive Job Reference: 36304 We're looking for a Product Assembler to join our Ely based client on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role within the manufacturing operation, where you'll play an important part in assembling specialist accessories. The role is varied, and you'll receive training across a range of processes and equipment. You'll also have the opportunity to support other areas of the business. Responsibilities: - Assembling accessories, from picking components through to final packing and preparation for dispatch - Pick and prepare components accurately, keeping stock records up to date - Follow work orders and assembly instructions correctly - Work as part of the team to meet production targets - Complete production paperwork accurately and on time - Support Team Leaders with training, cross-training and workplace improvement activities - Help identify and solve problems and suggest ways to improve quality and production Requirements: - Experience in a manufacturing or production environment - A practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical skills - Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused - Good verbal and written communication skills - A positive team player who works well with others - Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address issues - A willingness to learn new skills and support different areas of the manufacturing team Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
