Location: Cornwall

Pay: £92.56 - £95.00 per day

Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday, Term Time)

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Supply Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to support vibrant primary schools across Cornwall. Whether you are looking for the consistency of regular day-to-day cover or short-term block bookings, supply work gives you the freedom to choose when and where you work while making a massive impact on young learners.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support for primary-aged pupils with various additional needs (such as Autism, ADHD, or global developmental delay).

  • Stepping into different classroom environments and quickly building a rapport with pupils and staff.

  • Assisting the class teacher by adapting activities, managing classroom behaviour positively, and ensuring all children feel included.

  • Offering stability, patience, and encouragement to children who need extra guidance during their school day.


What We Are Looking For
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally with SEN (schools, care settings, or youth groups).

  • An adaptable, proactive attitude-perfect for hitting the ground running in different school environments.

  • A patient, empathetic nature and excellent communication skills.

  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one through Randstad).
