The Role

SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Cranleigh, Surrey
Full-Time |Permanent| Monday-Friday | 08:30am - 4:15pm

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students on a 1:1 and small-group basis

  • Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities

  • Encourage communication, independence and life skills development

  • Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

  • Help facilitate community-based learning and work-related experiences

  • Work closely with teachers, therapists and families

  • Provide personal care support when required

What We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals who are:

  • Patient, resilient and compassionate

  • Strong communicators and team players

  • Experienced within SEN, education, childcare, social care or similar support environments

  • Able to support students with complex communication and behavioural needs

Essential Requirements

  • UK-based experience is required

  • Minimum 3-12 months' experience in SEN, education, childcare, social care or a transferable support role

  • No criminal convictions or reprimands

  • Right to work in the UK or a valid visa

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
