FLIGHT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

MILITARY GRADES: Enlisted: E3 - E5 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: Enlisted: 15P SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-07). Specialized experience includes experience interpreting and applying regulations, directives, policies, and procedures related to aviation or flight operations; preparing, reviewing, processing, and maintaining flight plans, flight clearances, and aviation records; providing or coordinating flight information such as weather data, Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs), airfield information, navigational aids, and flight restrictions; monitoring and coordinating aircraft movements and flight schedules; and using automated systems to maintain, retrieve, compile, and report flight operations information.
