About the Role:

The Teaching Assistant will provide 1-1 support for a pupil, enabling them to access the curriculum, develop independence and participate positively in school life. The role may include:

  • Preparing differentiated or adapted resources.
  • Breaking larger tasks into smaller, manageable components.
  • Preparing visual prompts and organisational aids.
  • Cutting out of sequencing information in advance where appropriate.
  • Preparing materials to support independent completion of tasks.
  • Ensuring resources are available before the beginning of lessons.
  • Supporting with the use of planner and other organisational tools.
