Advanced Practitioner - Child Protection

• Welsh MOU rate
• Flintshire
• 37 hours p/w
• Minimum 3 month contract
• Hybrid working

About the role:

You will manage a varied caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans,  Public Law Outline processes and court proceedings where required.
Key responsibilities include:

• Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families.
• Managing Child Protection and PLO 
• Completing Section 47 enquiries and risk assessments.
• Developing and reviewing plans that promote safety, stability and positive outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with children and families to support sustainable change.
• Working effectively with schools, health partners, police and other agencies.
• Preparing high-quality reports and attending conferences, reviews and court proceedings.
• Ensuring children’s voices remain central to all decision-making

What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with Social Care Wales
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
