🏥 Healthcare | Water Hygiene & Treatment
We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Water Treatment Technician to support healthcare and commercial sites across the Birmingham and Coventry region.
💧 The role focuses on Legionella control, water hygiene, sampling, temperature monitoring, inspections and remedial works.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- 🌡️ Temperature monitoring and water sampling.
- 🚿 Showerhead descales and TMV servicing.
- 💧 Cold water storage tank inspections, cleaning and remedial works.
- 🧪 Water system testing, analysis and disinfection.
- ⚗️ Closed-system chemical dosing, including inhibitors and biocides.
- 💦 Water softener servicing and disinfection.
- 🔥 Calorifier and boiler water system inspections/testing.
- 🛠️ Plumbing remedial works, including dead-leg removal and TMV replacements.
- 📋 Complete accurate service reports and technical documentation.
- 🦺 Follow RAMS, risk assessments and safe working procedures.
- 🤝 Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach.
- 🚗 Travel between sites across Birmingham, Coventry and surrounding areas.
👨🔧 Requirements
- 💧 Previous experience in Water Treatment, Water Hygiene or a similar role.
- 🦠 Strong knowledge of Legionella control and water hygiene.
- 🧪 Experience with water sampling and temperature monitoring.
- 🔩 Experience with TMVs, tanks and water systems.
- 🎓 Relevant water treatment/Legionella qualifications.
- 🚰 Level 2 Plumbing qualification desirable.
- 🦺 Good understanding of Health & Safety, RAMS and risk assessments.
- 🚐 Full UK driving licence.
- 💬 Strong communication and customer service skills.
