SHIFT PATTERN:  Sunday-Thursday 22:00-06:30,  40 hours per week

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE 

The Night Shift Supervisor - Lighting Inspections is responsible for the effective management and supervision of lighting inspection activities across the client estate. This hybrid role combines on-site leadership with office-based planning, reporting, administration and stakeholder management responsibilities. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• - Supervise nightly lighting inspection activities across multiple locations. 
• - Coordinate labour, plant and resources. 
• - Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safe systems of work and company procedures. 
• - Conduct site audits, inspections and quality checks. 
• - Lead, motivate and develop inspection teams. 
• - Review and validate inspection reports and defect findings. 
• - Produce performance and progress reports for management and clients. 
• - Act as the primary night shift operational contact. 
• - Escalate operational, safety and contractual risks as required. 
• - Support planning and scheduling of future works. 

Requirements

- Proven experience supervising electrical or lighting maintenance/inspection teams. 

- Strong understanding of planned maintenance and inspection activities. 

- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. 

- Experience within a safety critical environment. 

- Full UK Driving Licence. 

Qualifications 

- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent 

- 18th Edition BS7671 

- IOSH Managing Safely 

- SSSTS or SMSTS 

- London Underground / Rail experience 

- Sentinel competencies LU-ICI 

- 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing
