GL Senior Accountant

As a GL Senior Accountant , you will be responsible for the accounting and tax operations of a new legal entity (small size - kkv) inside the Bosch Group in Hungary. You will take a key expert role in ensuring accurate and compliant accounting operations while supporting statutory, tax and reporting activities for our new Hungarian entity (small size – kkv). The position combines hands-on accounting and tax expertise with coordination, stakeholder management and participation in major finance transformation projects. You will work closely with local Finance and Controlling teams, management, external auditors, Hungarian authorities and our international Global Services organization. Beyond daily and period-end accounting activities, you will contribute to annual reporting, audits, forecasts and the continuous development of our financial processes and systems. A particularly exciting part of the role is the opportunity to contribute to our S/4HANA environment and finance digitalization initiatives , acting as a GL key user and supporting the implementation and improvement of future-oriented accounting processes. Your tasks: ► Take responsibility for General Ledger accounting and Chief Accountant-related activities , ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial processes for the new Hungarian legal entity. ► Coordinate and support tax-related activities , statutory accounting requirements and reporting obligations in cooperation with relevant internal and external stakeholders ► Support the preparation and go-live of new entity-related accounting processes and ensure stable financial operations following implementation ► Act as a GL Key User for S/4HANA , supporting accounting processes, system-related topics, testing, issue resolution and continuous improvements across the relevant organizations ► Prepare regular financial forecasts, reports and financial information for the management , providing reliable input for business and management decisions ► Provide financial information and data to Controlling for current forecasts, business planning and year-end closing activities relating to the new legal entity ► Coordinate the preparation of the annual financial statements and related materials for Supervisory Board meetings ► Support external audits throughout the year, including interim and year-end financial audits , and coordinate the required accounting information and documentation ► Provide expert accounting support to local stakeholders as well as international accounting and service teams ► Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and provide financial information to Hungarian authorities ► Coordinate bank-related activities, including bank connections, system administration, security-related responsibilities and Bank Account Management (BAM) topics ► Perform and oversee reconciliations, GL checks and accounting controls , identifying discrepancies and ensuring appropriate follow-up ► Participate in finance transformation and digitalization projects especially sales-related initiatives ► Support continuous improvement and standardization of accounting processes, controls and reporting ► University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field ►Chartered Accountant qualification in HAS ► Several years of professional experience in General Ledger accounting, statutory accounting or a comparable senior accounting role of small and medium sized companies ►Ability to work effectively with management, auditors and international teams ► Confident user of Excel and other MS Office applications ► Very good command of English , both written and spoken What gives you further advantages: ► Previous experience with Chief Accountant responsibilities especially in sales companies of small and medium sized ► Experience with SAP S/4HANA , particularly in a GL key user role ►Experiences in IFRS accounting and/or relevant IFRS qualification Get to know our #LikeABosch benefits.
