The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Histopathology Consultant to support service in the East of England.

This is a full-time locum opportunity starting ASAP, offering consistent on-site work within a well-established hospital pathology department.

You will work alongside experienced clinical teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic pathology services and supporting safe, effective patient care.

Essential Requirements

• GMC Specialist Registration in Histopathology
• FRCPath Part 1 and Part 2 (mandatory, no exceptions)
• Recent UK Histopathology Consultant experience
• Full and active GMC registration
• Right to work in the UK

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide consultant-level Histopathology services
• Report and interpret histopathology specimens to a high clinical standard
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reporting documentation
• Contribute to departmental quality assurance and governance processes
• Ensure compliance with local and national clinical standards
