Survey Manager

Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Survey Manager to lead all surveying and setting out functions on a major civil engineering project in Enfield. This role requires a strong technical background in land and structural surveying, combined with the leadership skills to manage a team of surveyors and ensure work meets exacting quality standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee all surveying-related activities for the project, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications
Manage survey teams to deliver setting out and dimensional control across all civil works
Coordinate with engineering and delivery teams to resolve technical queries
Ensure quality assurance, project tolerances, and reporting standards are consistently met
Maintain clear and accurate records of survey data, including as-built drawings and progress updates
Advise on temporary works and provide specialist input where required
Monitor and manage survey-related risks and resources to maintain efficiency

 
Must-have Requirements

Extensive surveying experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Knowledge of modern survey equipment, GPS systems, and CAD software
Proven ability to manage and develop a team of surveyors in a site-based environment
Familiarity with quality management systems and health & safety standards
Strong organisational and communication skills to support effective project delivery
