Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Ashford, Kent

Contract Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term

Pay Rate: £17.00- £19.00per hour (dependent on shift pattern and pay type)

We are recruiting an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse/yard team based in Ashford.

This is a full-time, ongoing role offering regular hours, stable weekly pay, and the opportunity for permanent placement for the right candidate.

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently around a busy warehouse/yard environment.

• Unloading incoming deliveries from HGVs and loading outgoing vehicles for dispatch.

• Stacking, moving, and organizing palletised goods and raw materials safely in storage bays.

• Performing daily pre-shift safety checks on the forklift and reporting any mechanical issues.

• Assisting with general yard duties, manual handling, and keeping loading bays clean and hazard-free.

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent accredited body-must be in-date).

• CSCS card

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience operating counterbalance trucks in a fast-paced environment.

• Good spatial awareness and a strict commitment to health & safety procedures.

• Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and clear communication skills.

• Ability to carry out manual handling and yard duties when required.

• Hours: Monday to Friday.

• Overtime: Weekend and evening overtime opportunities available.

• Pay: Paid weekly via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE direct.
