Interim Finance Manager (3 months, 3 days per week)

A good interim Finance Manager can make a huge difference.

This is a 3-month interim assignment with an established, growing creative/service-based business that needs someone who can get stuck in, take ownership and keep the finance function moving.

You’ll be reporting into the Finance Director and taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of finance, whilst also bringing a focus on reporting, cashflow, controls and process improvement.

What’s on the agenda?

• Monthly management accounts and performance reporting
• Weekly cashflow and revenue forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
• VAT, payroll and HMRC submissions
• Invoicing, credit control and transactional finance
• Supporting year-end financial statements
• Improving processes, systems and efficiency
• Providing clear financial insight to the wider business

What are we looking for?

• Someone who is confident running a small finance function and doesn’t need a huge amount of hand-holding.
• Ideally qualified (although QBE will be considered) with strong management accounting experience and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience within a service-based environment would be useful, as would Xero experience, although neither is essential.
• More importantly, you’ll be organised, commercially minded, process-driven and comfortable communicating with people outside of finance.
• A genuinely hands-on interim opportunity where there is plenty to get your teeth into.
