About the role

Job summary

Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful insight that drives real change? As a Performance Analyst, you play a key role in helping the Area and organisation understand how it's performing, identify opportunities for improvement, and support evidence-based decision-making at all levels.

Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you transform complex data into clear, actionable insight that helps shape strategic priorities and improve operational performance. You use your analytical expertise to identify trends, highlight risks and opportunities, and provide trusted insight that supports better outcomes and improved performance.

This is more than a reporting role. You are a valued partner, helping colleagues confidently interpret and use performance information to inform decisions. Through compelling data storytelling, engaging visualisations, and clear communication, you ensure that insight is accessible, meaningful, and drives continuous improvement.

The Crown Prosecution Service is based in England and Wales. If you’re applying for this role and live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you must let us know when accepting this offer as you need permission to work from your home address if hybrid working is part of your role. There’s no guarantee that we will grant this approval.

You must be aged 18 or over at the point of starting in this role. The expected start date is approximately 8–12 weeks after the application closing date. You are expected to commence employment as soon as possible following the expiry of your notice period. Requests for significantly later start dates may not be accommodated.
