ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST

Bristol, City of Bristol JP Engineering Are you ready to build your career at the ground level—literally? We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Geologist to join our growing team in BRISTOL (Hybrid) This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of ground investigation and geotechnical projects across the South West, gaining hands-on experience and developing your technical expertise within a supportive and dynamic environment. What You’ll Be Doing * Assisting with and supervising site investigations (trial pits, boreholes, logging) * Soil and rock logging to current standards * Collecting and managing geotechnical and environmental samples * Supporting the preparation of factual and interpretive reports * Liaising with site teams, contractors, and clients * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site What We’re Looking For * A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline * Some relevant site or consultancy experience (3 YEARS + ideal but not essential) * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn * Good communication and teamwork skills * Full UK driving licence (essential) What We Offer * Competitive salary up to £38,000 * Excellent Benefits * Ongoing training and career development * Opportunity to work on diverse and interesting projects * Supportive team environment * Clear progression pathway within the company If you're passionate about geology and want to take the next step in your engineering career, we’d love to hear from you
