Year 2 teacher

Desian Education are proud to be working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Warrington that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate primary teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils through this important stage of their educational journey. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive school environment with a strong focus on pupil achievement, wellbeing and professional development.

Your new role

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where all children can thrive.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Support pupils as they develop confidence, independence and key learning skills.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.

What you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
