Specialty Trainee - Paediatrics (Neonates, RJMS)

Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Trainee (ST4+ level) for a Neonates locum assignment at the Royal Jubilee Maternity Service (RJMS), part of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a one-month assignment starting as soon as possible, with a view to extension.

The successful candidate will work the full neonatal rota including days, long days, nights, and weekends, and must adhere to the department's rota shifts, swaps, and leave process. RJMS is a regional neonatal unit providing intensive, high dependency, and special care to neonates across Northern Ireland. You will manage neonatal admissions, stabilise sick newborns, attend deliveries, perform neonatal procedures, and work within a consultant-led multidisciplinary team.

A minimum of 6 months' UK experience in Neonates is essential. This position is offered at the £50/hr assignment rate for Specialty Trainee grade locum doctors.

Candidates must provide a fully completed LD1 form and full pack of documentation including: valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, minimum two professional references, and mandatory training certificates including BMJ Hyponatraemia, Right Patient Right Blood modules (Blood Components, Safe Transfusion, Consent for Transfusion), and practical competencies (Competency 1 and 4). The Belfast Trust does not provide travel or accommodation.
