Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Specialty Doctor for an inpatient Psychiatry locum assignment at Grangewood Hospital, part of the Western Health and Social Care Trust. This is a short-term assignment starting as soon as possible until 18th September 2026, working Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 (40 hours per week).

Grangewood is a psychiatric inpatient facility within the Western Trust. The successful candidate will provide Specialty Doctor-level psychiatric care on the inpatient wards, managing acute psychiatric admissions, conducting ward rounds, reviewing medication plans, liaising with community mental health teams, and working within the multidisciplinary team. You will support the consultant psychiatrist and contribute to discharge planning and risk assessments.

This position is offered at the £60/hr assignment rate for Specialty Doctor grade locum doctors.

Candidates must hold valid GMC registration with licence to practise, have right to work in the UK, DBS/AccessNI clearance (AccessNI is required for all locums in Northern Ireland), professional indemnity insurance, and a minimum of two up-to-date professional references. HSE Encompass training is mandatory. CVs should reference code NG0681.
