A well-established mainstream primary school in the DN10 area is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Year 6.

The successful candidate will provide classroom and targeted learning support, helping pupils prepare for the transition to secondary education while maintaining their confidence and engagement with learning.

The role will include:

• Supporting Year 6 pupils across the curriculum
• Providing 1:1 and small-group learning support
• Assisting with reading, writing and maths
• Supporting pupils with exam and assessment preparation
• Encouraging independence and resilience
• Promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement

The school is looking for someone who is confident, dependable and able to build positive relationships with pupils.

Previous experience supporting Key Stage 2 children would be beneficial.
