Salaried GP | The Light Surgery | 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE)

TheLight Surgery are seeking a dedicated and skilled Salaried GP to join our team at The Light Surgery on a permanent basis. As a Salaried GP, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, with responsibilities that span both clinical and administrative duties.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide clinical and administrative sessions, ensuring patient-centred care is at the forefront of all decisions.
  • Proactively manage patients with complex and long-term health conditions, promoting wellness and preventative care.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to the wider multidisciplinary team to enhance overall service delivery.

Job responsibilities

You will make autonomous decisions in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients while working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for those with complex and long-term health conditions.

Your expertise will support the team's ongoing development and help shape a proactive approach to patient care.

Clinical systems: We use SystemOne

What makes us different - key practice details

  • All appointments are 15 minutes long
  • To protect our staff and improve quality of care we limit formal patient contacts to a maximum of 27 contacts per day
  • You will have protected break time and clinical administrative time rota'd into your day
  • Our centralised clinical administration team and medical secretaries support with workload
  • Our innovative clinical model focuses on promoting wellbeing, personalised planned care and timely access to care for patients

What You'll Get:

  • 10% of weekly hours set aside for CPD (continuing professional development) time
