We can offer a range of assignments, from single-day bookings and regular supply work through to longer-term placements, allowing you to choose the type of work that best suits your circumstances. What You'll Be Doing Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities may include: Delivering lessons and activities using plans and resources provided by the school Ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged throughout each lesson Creating a calm, respectful, and productive learning environment Managing behaviour confidently and following the school's expectations and policies Adapting lesson activities where needed to suit the needs of the class Supporting students with their learning and encouraging positive participation Following school routines, safeguarding procedures, and classroom expectations Moving confidently between different classes, year groups, and school environments Providing useful feedback to the regular teacher at the end of the lesson or school day What We're Looking For We'd like to hear from teachers who: Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have experience teaching or working within a classroom environment Can establish strong classroom expectations and manage behaviour effectively Are adaptable and confident when entering an unfamiliar school Are reliable, organised, and professional Have a positive attitude and enjoy working with young people Communicate effectively with both students and school staff Are happy teaching across their specialist subject or, where appropriate, covering a wider range of subjects Want to maintain a flexible teaching career while continuing to make a difference to students The Benefits of Working with Tradewind Supply teaching can give you the freedom to decide when, where, and how often you work.
