Project Manager – Fire & Security
Location: Loughborough (Flexible – Hybrid / Site-Based)
Contract Length: 6 Months + possible extension
Day Rate: £350 per day (Inside IR35)

Overview
We are looking for a competent Fire & Security Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of small-to-medium projects across multiple sites in the Loughborough region. This role suits a technically grounded professional, ideally with an engineering background, who can manage delivery across several concurrent installations and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple Fire & Security projects across various sites, ensuring delivery to time and budget.
Coordinate installation and maintenance work for fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
Act as the main point of contact between engineers, clients, and internal teams.
Plan and schedule work efficiently across the NG postcode area.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
Ensure compliance with relevant fire and security regulations and industry standards.
Support commercial tracking, including basic cost control and reporting.

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager within Fire & Security or electronic security systems.
Strong technical background, ideally from an engineering or hands-on installation role.
Good working knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems.
Ability to manage multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
Solid organisational and communication skills.
Comfortable working flexibly between home, office, and site locations.

Desirable

Knowledge of relevant fire safety standards (e.g. BS5839) and security system regulations.
Experience working across service, install, or small works projects.
Basic commercial awareness and reporting capability.
