Customer Service Advisor

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join an established logistics business based in Glenrothes.

Our client is an award-winning, family-run logistics company offering same day, next day and international delivery services from their Fife base. This is a varied, customer-facing role at the heart of a busy operation, taking orders and dealing with customers day to day.

What’s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm
• Every third Saturday, 6am to 11am
• Paid at £13 per hour

As a Customer Service Advisor, your duties will include:

• Answering incoming calls and taking customer orders accurately
• Handling customer enquiries by phone and email
• Tracking consignments and updating customers on delivery progress
• Resolving delivery queries promptly and professionally
• Liaising with drivers, depot staff and other departments
• Maintaining accurate records and keeping company systems up to date

To be considered as a Customer Service Advisor, you will need:

• Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role – ideally 3 years
• Excellent communication skills with a positive, professional telephone manner
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
• Confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience within logistics, transport or a delivery environment is advantageous
