Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturing company based near Exeter. A forklift driving role, with other responsibilities surrounding warehouse operations and goods in. Working the day shift Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7:45am to 12:15pm on Fridays. We're looking for people with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. The successful candidates will be proactive and comfortable working independently, as well as being a team player. Please note: the Counterbalance Forklift Licence needs to be external.

Key Duties

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and incoming deliveries.
• Move stock, raw materials, and finished products throughout the site.
• Store and retrieve pallets from racking and designated storage areas.
• Assist with goods-in, stock control, and inventory checks.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders where required.
• Complete warehouse paperwork and update stock records accurately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.

Requirements Essential

• Valid externally accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
• Previous Counterbalance FLT operating experience.
• Experience working within a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work safely.
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual.
• Ability to undertake some manual handling duties when required.
