About the role
Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a MIG welder for our client in the Brownhills area.
This is an immediate start.
Hours of work: 07:00 – 16:00 Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – Midday Friday.
£13.50 – £14.50 per hour, Immediate start available.
Temporary to permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Perform welding tasks on sheet metal and other materials, ensuring precision and quality.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts.
- Conduct regular maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
