About the role

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident ‌Trust Performing Art Technician‌‌‌‌ to join our team at the Laurus Trust on a casual basis.

As a Trust Performing Arts Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the creative and technical aspects of our Performing Arts provision across the Trust. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Set Design & Stage Construction: Assisting with the design and build of sets for shows, workshops, exams, performances, and promotional events.
  • Technical Support: Providing lighting, AV, and technical assistance for events, assemblies, and performances.
  • Curriculum Support: Supporting the delivery of courses and performances within the Performing Arts Departments across Laurus Trust schools

  • To deliver high quality support and technical production services for drama, music and other performance activities across Laurus Trust schools

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent and minimum 2 A-levels or equivalent.  
  • Sound knowledge of stage lighting, sound, video recording/editing, music technology, and AV equipment.
  • A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
