Operations Coordinator

Stanford-le-Hope, Borough of Thurrock Streamline Services Consultancy Limited We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join a busy operation based in Stanford-le-Hope. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to build a long-term career within logistics. The successful candidate will provide general administrative and logistical support, working closely with the warehouse and transport teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and deliveries are coordinated efficiently. This position is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with an immediate start required. Key Responsibilities * Processing customer orders accurately using the company’s in-house system * Updating and maintaining internal systems and records * Producing and updating stock reports * Providing general administrative support to the logistics operation * Answering incoming telephone calls and emails professionally and efficiently * Coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure orders are prepared and dispatched correctly * Liaising with transport teams regarding collections, deliveries and schedules * Communicating with customers regarding orders, deliveries and delivery updates * Responding to customer queries and resolving issues where possible * Preparing, checking and maintaining logistics-related documentation * Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks * Assisting with any other duties required to support the smooth running of the operation We are looking for someone who is: * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail * Confident using computers and able to learn new in-house systems * Comfortable working in a busy logistics environment * A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing * Confident speaking with customers, warehouse teams and transport providers * Previous experience in logistics, transport, warehouse administration, order processing.
