Salary: HCC H6 Scale 14-19* actual salary £25,775 - £27,922 per annum including outer fringe allowance, based on 37 hours per week, term time only plus 3 days
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an 8.00am start, term time only plus 3 days

*Full-time equivalent salary = H6 Scale 14-19 £30,269 - £32,790 (including outer fringe allowance of £729 pa)
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Support Mentor to join our team and play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This role is grounded in the principles of relational practice, focusing on promoting inclusion, emotional regulation and positive behaviour through a reflective and consistent approach.
You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and external professionals to help implement personalised strategies that reduce barriers to learning. By modelling calm, empathetic responses and helping students understand their behaviour, you will contribute to a nurturing and supportive school culture where all students can thrive.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute towards the development of the school’s behaviour interventions provision. The successful candidate will possess a high level of initiative and the skills and confidence to deal with challenging situations.
